YCircuit

Ever since I was introduced to XCircuit by Prof. Nagendra Krishnapura, I was extremely impressed by the quality of the output it created. The user interface, to me, always felt a little clunky and non intuitive. YCircuit is the result of having some spare time in the evenings and wanting to learn PyQt a little better.

I’ve created a website for YCircuit that you can visit here. You will also find links there to download pre-compiled binaries for Windows and Linux. The code is under active development and is open source. You can view the source here and download it and give it a shot. If you run into any problems, please file a bug report or send me an email! The goal of YCircuit is to create a software whose output can rival that of XCircuit’s while remaining easy to use, modify and extend.

Filterless Class-D amplifier

I worked with Sarthak Kalani on the design of a filterless class-D audio amplifier on chip. This was part of the VLSI design lab offered at Columbia University during Spring 2014. You can find a short video overview of the design and a demo of the functionality below. If you would like to read more about our project, additional details can be found here.
